Each of the 9 block types below is one entry per distinct key in the serialized data, combining its individual spawn variants (a block usually has several near-identical variants purely to add visual variety). Where a block type places its own dedicated block item — Dirt, Grass, Sand, and Snow — the image is that block's real in-game texture. Where a block type instead yields a raw material (mining a Clay Block, for example, always yields the Clay material, not a separate "Clay Block" item), the game does not serialize a distinct world texture for the terrain block itself, so the material's own item icon is shown instead and the card says so — nothing here is a guessed or invented image.

Dirt Block

Dirt Block

Authentic block texture

5 serialized variants in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Dirt Block.

Where it generates:

  • Cave Dirt Blocks — Generates at the surface layer only, including underwater surface tiles. Height range 0–100, generation noise 0–1.
  • Underwater Dirt Blocks — Generates at the surface layer only, including underwater surface tiles. Height range 0–9, generation noise 0–1.
Clay Block

Clay Block

Material icon shown — no distinct block texture in the data

1 serialized variant in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Clay. The image above is that material's item icon, not a separate block sprite.

Where it generates:

  • Clay Blocks — Can generate below the surface as well as at it, but only in tiles close to water (shorelines, riverbanks, lake and pond edges). Height range 0–11, generation noise 0–0.26.
Grass Block

Grass Block

Authentic block texture

8 serialized variants in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Grass Block.

Where it generates:

  • Grass Blocks — Generates at the surface layer only, on dry land only. Height range 0–100, generation noise 0–1.
Sand Block

Sand Block

Authentic block texture

7 serialized variants in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Sand Block.

Where it generates:

  • Sand Blocks — Generates at the surface layer only, on dry land only. Height range 0–11, generation noise 0.62–1.
Snow Block

Snow Block

Authentic block texture

9 serialized variants in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Snow Block.

Where it generates:

  • Snow Blocks — Generates at the surface layer only, on dry land only. Height range 0–100, generation noise 0–1.
Wood Floor

Wood Floor

Material icon shown — no distinct block texture in the data

12 serialized variants in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Wood. The image above is that material's item icon, not a separate block sprite.

Where it generates:

  • Wooden Floor Blocks — Can generate below the surface as well as at it, on dry land only. Height range 0–0, generation noise 0–0.

Every variant of this block currently has a spawn weight of 0, so despite being assigned to a generation group above, none of them are actually being selected by the world generator in this build.

Soil Block

Soil Block

Authentic block texture

1 serialized variant in the current build.

Destroying this block yields Dirt Block.

Where it generates: Not placed by a world-generation group. Per the in-game tutorial, hoeing a grass block turns it to dirt, and hoeing that dirt a second time turns it into soil — this is farmland, prepared by the player rather than found already generated. See the full tutorial sequence → · See farming mechanics →

Transparent

Transparent

Non-mineable utility block

1 serialized variant in the current build.

Destroying this block does not yield an item — it resolves to the game's own placeholder item, "No Item", whose description reads: “Congratulations! You’ve found literally nothing. This item shouldn’t exist, and yet... here we are. Either something broke, or you’ve been poking around where you shouldn’t ;)”

Where it generates: Not assigned to a world-generation group in the current data.

Water Block

Water Block

Non-mineable utility block

1 serialized variant in the current build.

Destroying this block does not yield an item — it resolves to the game's own placeholder item, "No Item", whose description reads: “Congratulations! You’ve found literally nothing. This item shouldn’t exist, and yet... here we are. Either something broke, or you’ve been poking around where you shouldn’t ;)”

Where it generates: Not assigned to a world-generation group in the current data.

All block variants

spawnRate is the serialized selection weight within the relevant block system, not a percentage on its own. The percentage shown next to each group name below is derived: that variant's weight divided by the total weight of every variant assigned to that same group.
